Yes, I know the current focus is all on the forthcoming VMworld US, but there’s whole other continent on the other side of the pond, don’t you know!
At the US event there’s an award for that is issued to vendors who have transforming software or hardware solution – and a “Best in Show” award for the vendor with the glossest coat and healthy teeth and bones. [I don’t know but ‘best in show’ always makes me think of Crufts – the big dog show that we have here in the UK!]. On the EU side the fence we have the “User Awards”. These recognise significant achievement by end-users using VMware technologies. The deadline for submissions has been extended to the 14th Sept. Previous award wins got a nice certificate and iPAD and other goodies. So as well as giving you and your organisation a boost – there a prizes. But remember – you have to be IN IT, to WIN IT.
